Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
2 eggs
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons Worchestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup of diced onions
1 tablespoon oregano
1/4 tablespoon crushed red peppers*
1/4 tablespoon garlic
*optional
Add or subtract more oregano to taste.
Cooking Instructions:
Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Roll about 45 1-inch balls. Pan fry on medium, turning occasionally, until brown. Drain. OR BAKE uncovered in ungreased pan at 400 degrees until light brown, about 20-25 minutes.

The sauce is what makes the dish- Swedish meatballs. Use one part grape jelly (the cheapest generic you can find) to one part cocktail sauce. NO kidding. The recipe above requires about one large jar of each. More for larger amounts. Combine the two and heat over low. Serves well after refrigerated or frozen.
Additional Comments:
This is an easy to make appetizer that's always a hit at parties. You can easily use frozen meatballs, but these taste better. Prepare your sauce on the stove or in a crockpot and serve in a small crockpot or heated tray.
